Motoring across Britain and Europe changed dramatically through the post-war years. Certainly less ostentatious than mid-century Americana, but with its own understated glamour and charm.

Rapidly increasing affluence, the rebuilding of infrastructure, and changing social structures created a fascinating moment in history. Cars and car culture became an important part of European life, both reflecting and influencing it.
